Lemi Puzzle currently uses only essential session technology and local browser storage needed for security, preferences and game progress.

The first-party connect.sid cookie keeps a secure session for login, CSRF protection and form submission. It is HTTP-only, secure in production, restricted to same-site requests and may last up to 30 days. The site cannot provide account and secure-form features without it.
Local browser storage
Lemi Puzzle stores unfinished puzzle positions, recent and completed games, streak dates, local favorites and your acknowledgement of the cookie notice in localStorage. This information stays in your browser unless you sign in and use a feature that explicitly synchronizes it.
Optional Google Analytics
If you choose “Allow analytics”, Google Analytics loads and helps us measure visits, page use, devices and approximate geography. It may set first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_<container-id> to distinguish browsers and sessions. Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our tag configuration. No Google Analytics request is made before you grant permission.
Managing stored information
You can clear cookies and localStorage in your browser settings. Blocking the essential session cookie may prevent login, secure forms and account features from working. Clearing localStorage removes unfinished games and preferences saved only on that device.
